Our Head of the Environmental Program, Valeriia Kovach, is working as a consultant for the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) within the Environmental Exposures and Pollution (EEP) project in Vietnam. Valeria’s work focuses on addressing the intersection of environmental pollution and public health. The EEP project aims to identify, assess, and mitigate health risks associated with pollution, with a focus on vulnerable populations and communities that are most affected by environmental hazards.
Key areas of engagement include:
Supporting data collection and analysis on pollution exposure and health outcomes.
Collaborating with national and local stakeholders to build capacity and raise awareness.
Contributing to strategic planning and developing evidence-based policy recommendations.
Assisting in reporting, monitoring, and evaluation of project outcomes.
The Vietnam initiative under the EEP project aims to enhance the country’s capacity to mitigate pollution-related health impacts, aligning with GAHP’s broader mission to address pollution as a significant global health threat.
